(INFO) FT Island Treasure lyrics meaning

I really like their Japanese song Treasure, but all the English translations of the lyrics I have found are all very confusing. I can really make out the meaning of the song/what it's about except that you have a future waiting for you... I don't understand what's going on with tears or a girl. I cant understand the big metaphorical language the Japanese use like protecting the light?? -.-"
Could someone please explain to me more simply and clearly what it's about?
